Health officials confirmed the first case of swine flu in Romania. The 30-year old woman, tested positive returned from USA and now is treated at ‘Matei Bals’ Institute, Romanian Epidemology Institution’s Geza Molnar, said earlier today.
The women returned on May 23 from New York.
The minister of Health, Ion Bazac said the patient responded well to the drug treatment and that she was in stable condition. The woman was admitted at Infectious Disease Institute “Prof. Dr. Matei Bals”.
