“Following the programs designed to restore the car markets, adopted by several European countries, including Romania, Dacia facility would increase output from 1,200cars/day to 1,340, as of June 15”, Dacia representatives said.
The output increase would entail the supplementation of workforce by 500.
“This increase in output would entail a supplementation of workforce by 500 at the facility. Former salaries with a fixed term contract will take precedence”, the representatives of the carmarker said.
To employment contracts of some 400 fixed-term workers will be extended.
Dacia’s sales sank 60% in January-March interval, down to 7,770 cars.
