NBR reported an official rate of 4.2952 lei per euro in the previous session.

The national currency fell from 4.2940 to 4.2990 versus the euro and then slipped to 4.2970. At 1:00 p.m. banks were buying a euro with 4.2940 lei and selling it for 4.3010 lei.

In the region, the Polish zloty traded between 4.1230 and 4.1450 versus the euro, while the Hungarian forint eased from 269.40 to 270.81 per euro and then came back at 269.65.

For the U.S. dollar, NBR’s exchange rate rose 0.63 percent to 2.8747 lei per dollar, from 2.8566 in the previous session.
