BSE stocks showed 0.9% gain at closing, under bullish guidance from the foreign stock markets. Rompetrol Rafinare (RRC) gained 6.4%, after the filing of public takeover offer prospectus to Romanian National Securities Commission.
RRC and PTR shares increased markedly today, after the prospectus for the public takeover offer of Rompetrol Rafinare has been field to the Romanian National Securities Commission, thus meeting the deadline imposed by the market watchdog. In case of Rompetrol Well services, the prospectus has been already filed earlier this month.

In today’s trading of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, the liquidity shrank 56% to 16.91 million lei (€4 million), compared to yesterday’s 39 million lei.

BET index that gauges the performance of the ten most liquid stocks at the BSE finished up 2.18% to 4,675.84 points, while the composite BET-C climbed 0.90% to 2,710.39.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies (BSE:SIF) closed 0.92% higher to 23,746.69 points, while Vienna Stock Exchange’s ROTX rose 1.30% to 9,758.21points.

BET-XT index that measures the performance of the 25 most liquid shares closed 1.24% higher to 460.48 points and BET-NG of the energy companies listed at BSE gained 2.52% to 586.18 points.

European stock markets were showing significant growth at BSE’s closing. At the London Stock Exchange, FTSE index of leading 100 shares was inching 0.72% to 5,241.54points while Germany’s DAX was advancing at 1.25% rate to 5,718.62. However, Paris’ CAC40 was falling 0.74% to 3,757.39 points.

FIC Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) has led the most traded stock chart today, with shares worth 3.04 million lei changing hands, pushing prices up 0.8% to 1.26lei. FIC Moldova (BSE:FIC2) moved 1.8% higher to 1.13lei, in a liquidity of 2.07 million lei.

In the financial sector, Banca Transilvania (BSE: TLV) closed 2.43% higher to 2.11lei, after shares worth 2.72 million lei changing hands. BRD SocGen dropped 1.52% to 13.40in a liquidity of 589.300lei.

Transactions with Rompetrol Rafinare (RRC) totaled 1.11 million lei, as shares gained 6.39% to 0.0599lei.Petrom held steady at 0.252lei in a liquidity of 613.000lei.

Rompetrol Well Services (PTR) remained at 0.436lei, after shares worth 127.300 lei changing hands. Transgaz (TGN) shares rose 1.94% to 158 lei, as transactions totaled 181.500lei.
