Dan Paul, chairman of Brokers Association and vice president of the Bucharest stock market has filed his papers to run in the race for a new term as administrator of the board of Bucharest Stock Exchange.
In order to join the race for a second run, he said he would have to submit his resignation as administrator of THR Black Sea, in order to meet requirements set by the Romanian National Securities Commission.
“Last year, the stock market froze its marketing spending and I think we should begin a new road-show in the country, in order to attract new companies to trading”, the incumbent chairman of Brokers’ Association.
Over the past two weeks, Eugen Bradean, director at Electrica, and Ciprian Zah, Broker Cluj, have expressed their intention to join the race and the board of BSE.
Two other brokers threw their hat in the ring via Wall-Street: Nicolae Ghergus, director at Confident Invest and Mihai Chisu, broker at IFB Finwest.
