Liviu Negoita said he would submit the list of ministers to the Parliament. He added he was convinced that politicians would show some responsibility to the current political situation.
Negoita will have three days to talk with the parties and form a new government. After that he would come before the Parliament for obtaining the vote of investiture.
The proposal of the president surprised analysts and political figures, as his name was not rumored for this post.
With a law degree, Negoita is a member of the Democratic Party since 1997 and ran 3 deputy mandates, since 1996 until 2004.
He is at his second mandate as mayor of Sector 3, Bucharest, being in office since 2004.
