Brokerage arm of Raiffeisen Capital & Investment said it launched the online stock trading service with full functionality for RCI customers that invest at the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The electronic platform enables traders to place buy/sell orders, change or cancel orders, access their transaction history, send cash transfer requests, execute transactions at low fees, RCI said in a release.
RCI customers will also have access to real-time stock quotes and placed orders for all existent price ranges.
“The electronic stock trading platform provides our customers easy access to the capital market and higher flexibility in stock trading,” said Bogdan Campianu, director capital markets, Raiffeisen Capital & Investment.
Customers can use the service by signing an addendum to the original contract.
The introduction of the service is continuing an expansion that began early 2009. In October 2009, 3 large brokers launched online stock-trading platforms to offset the exit of large investors in this sector.
