KPMG Romania appointed Mark Gibbins as new Head of Tax, with effect from October 1, 2009.
Mark has worked as Partner in the UK, Portugal, and most recently Head of Tax in Slovakia, all of this time in the respective KPMG firms.
Mark is a British citizen, and joined KPMG after graduating from Bristol University in the UK in 1980. He also has a particular specialism in the structuring of inward Foreign Direct Investment, restructuring and mergers as well as fiscal incentives. He is a UK qualified Chartered Accountant, being a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA).
As of October 1, KPMG Romania has appointed two new partners, namely Ramona Jurubita as tax partner and head of Indirect Taxation services, and Cezar Furtuna as audit partner, and Cezar Furtuna as audit partner.
